The Shogun Music Muff Dating from late 1982 the Shogun Music Muff was the first and quite possibly the only attempt to combine a stereo FM radio and micro cassette player into a pair of headphones.The Tuner is on one side and the tape deck on the other, with the batteries (3 x AAA) held in a sliding draw that fits into the underside of the radio. Despite the weight (around 500g with batteries and tape) it is surprisingly comfortable thanks to the soft ear cushions and padded and adjustable headband. Man, peoplehave come up with some crazy shit. Today I bought a micro cassette recorder for 50p with a tape included that has some recordings on it. I’m going to listen through it and transfer any good ones to the computer, then upload them.
